Seated cross-legged in vajraparyankasana atop a double-lotus pedestal, holding a flaming sword in the right hand raised over the head, the left in vitarka mudra flanked by a lily spray supporting the prajnaparamitasutra resting against the left shoulder, the face with a benevolent expression, crowned with a foliate tiara around the high chignon, adorned with wheel-shaped earrings, the gracefully swaying body bedecked in beaded necklaces and jewellery, wearing a dhoti and a celestial scarf. 17cm (6¾in) high.
