Description

Vajrasattva. Seated figure of the Dhyani Buddha Vajrasattva carved in a dark-grey sandstone; he holds a bell in one hand and would have held a vajra in the hand that is missing. The mandorla carries two stupas and is edged with vajra emblems and flames; three fierce lions in the throne which carries an inscription; face battered.
