The Historical Buddha seated in a yogic pose, eyes closed in meditation, right hand reaching down to touch earth in bhumisparsa mudra, left hand empty resting in lap. Traces of gilt to face and ears and to jewel on top of head. Sitting on a deep single row lotus throne, the base is still in tact but loose with base metal folded over the lotus throne, has been previously forced open.
