主尊释迦牟尼佛端坐于正中六角须弥座莲台上,佛祖两眼向前凝视,身后饰以背光,右手微微抬至胸前结说法印,表示正在说法传教。左手自然垂放,于脐前结禅定印。
此画色彩靓丽,描绘细腻,佛陀面容端庄秀美,表情慈悲安详,法相庄严肃穆,让人望而心安,生大欢喜。佛衣精美华贵,衣纹精致细腻。六角须弥座描绘的更是美轮美奂,华丽繁复,彰显佛陀光彩夺目的殊胜圆满法相。在单像释迦佛说法图中,这是一幅精美绝伦、不可多得的上乘之作。
