A Sino-Tibetan inscribed gilt-lacquered bronze figure of Vajradhara
18th century
Finely cast seated in dhyanasana on a lotus pedestal, the hands crossed before his chest and holding a vjara and ghanta, the lower body draped in tight-fitting robes finely incised with floral motifs, the torso covered in a long scarf covering the shoulders, the face with contemplative expression and framed by pendulous ears and an elaborate diadem, inscription to back of base.
